Hearing Loss Profiles
See how you shape up

Hearing loss and you – the shape of it
See how your every- day experiences of living with hearing loss shape up when they’re turned into visual graphs. The graphs are mapped against the things that you find easier or harder when you’re trying to hear and follow what people are saying or whatever else you’re listening to.
The shapes created are personalised to you. They help to show the reality of hearing loss as it affects you and your every- day life. Even if someone has a similar amount of hearing loss to you, their experiences might shape up in a very different way.
What it’s like to hear as you do

Hearing loss and other hearing difficulties can take time to adjust to and to deal with. The need to hear and listen permeates all parts of life, so the challenges can be wide-ranging and difficult to manage.whatever else you’re listening to.
The shapes of the graphs represent how things are for you in a visual way. Once your hearing loss experiences are mapped into graphs, you have a tool to help you understand what’s going on and a way to show and share with others the impact hearing loss has on you.
You will hopefully find the result helpful and enlightening. It should make your biggest challenges easy to spot and might also help you find ways to make them easier.
